Queensland Maple is a native Australian species with similar tonal properties to mahogany, with a light, golden appearance. Sitka spuce is the most commonly used soundboard material on acoustic guitars, with a bright, loud tone. Together these tonewoods make a beautiful, rich Weissenborn with excellent projection and sustain.
